Susan McCool

Susan McCool is a very diversified Virtual Assistant. Working for several small companies during her career as a Bookkeeper/Office Manager, Susan has established many talents as she quickly learned working for a small company requires one to wear many hats. As Susan grew in experience and knowledge of many different areas, she realized that working for a small company didn't offer the growth potential she was seeking. This led her to Virtual Office Associates, a company she dreamed of starting for two years before she was finally able to make the commitment to become a business owner.

In her spare time, Susan prides herself on her work for the Endometriosis Research Center (www.endocenter.org), a non-profit organization that provides a means for research, support, education and awareness. Susan's role within this fabulous organization is to act as Program Director for their GirlTalk Program (www.endocenter.org/girltalk.htm). She also enjoys helping other Virtual Assistants start their home based dream by participating in the different Virtual Assistant communities found on the internet. She also hosts a special chat for Bizymoms (www.bizymoms.com) that coaches small businesses and solo-preneurs.

Susan's work history includes being the Bookkeeper/Manager for a small Tool and Die shop, which also dabbled in welding, machine manufacturing/repair and factory setups. When her employer decided to sell the company and move north to be near his college bound twins, Susan moved on to a new position. Here she found herself as the Bookkeeper/Office Manager/HR Administrator for a Landlord and Tenant law firm. That is until she was faced with bedrest from an unruly pregnancy. Her next great adventure was found at a small Tool and Accessory Retail Store that catered to mostly the commercial end of the industry. Susan was granted the position of Bookkeeper/Office Manager because of her extensive bookkeeping and office managerial history. When Hurricane Wilma became the third hurricane to strike her county within two years, she decided it was time to move her family further north to start anew. This is when Susan decided to start her new businesss.
